Mr F Rhem, who has been undergoing treatment at the Riverside infirmary, Charleston, returned home Monday very much improved,we are glad to mention. Mr Lamar Johnson of Bethune spent the week-end with relatives and friends here. Misses Margaret Keels, Laura and Mary Rhem went to Hemingway Saturday to do some shopping. Mr and Mrs G B Eaddy, son,Winston, and daughter, Lucy, accompanied by Mr Wade H Baxlev. visited the home of the former's son-in-law and daughter,Mr and Mrs Lawrence Creels, at Boston recently. We hope to have him for another term. Misses Minnie Gordon and Stella Lamb made all welcome to the school by pinning a bouquet on each one as he entered the door.
