Lake City, May 24:?The closing exercises of the graded school com- j menced yesterday, with a sermon in j the Methodist church by Rev P S i McChesney, pastor of the Presbv- j terian church at Kingstree, who | chose as his subject the early life: and choice of Moses, preaching j therefrom very earnestly and forci-! bly, holding up to the class the im- j portance of the wise life choice. Special music was rendered, con- j sisting of a soprano solo by Miss j Dora Hinnant and a quartette by j Misses Cornelia Rooke and Mayme j Green and Mrs R F Joyner and ( Murray Severance.
