The former, who spent most of the time in Hot! Springs, Ark, joined Mrs Truluek in Newark, N J, and /> and they came home together. Mrs Truluck visited her brother in the New Jersey city. Messrs 0 S Baldwin and B Wallace Jones. Jr,?went to Leaksvi lieSpray, N C, last Tuesday and will return the latter part of this week. The object of the visit is largely business, but they will make no effort to avoid whatever pleasures may come their way. Mr Timmons Cockfield of Vernon, Ga, is visiting relatives in and near town. This young man is a son of Mr Eddie Cockfield, who is well known throughout this section. Miss Heloise Sturgeon visited her sister, Mrs S W^G Shipp, in Florence recently. Rev L N Chappelle, who is now the pastor of the Baptist church at Easley, is here on a visit to members of his erstwhile flock.
