All Home Print We are seuding our patrons this week the first all-home printed paper ever issued from Kingstree. This new departure eutails additional labor aud expense but we are satisfied our efforts will be appreciated by the people. It is our purpose to keep The Record in the front ranks of up-to-date country journalism, aud will adopt from time to time such lew features as will accomplish this end, feeling assured an appreciative public will support us in our undertaking. The professional camDaicro fabri 4 # w cator will doubtless begin to get in his work and to propagate rumors and reports derogatory to the character of certain candidates. We hope, however, that their vile ana unscrupulous methods will be frowned on by the good, honest people of our county, and that they will heed no report calculated to hurt the interest of any candidate until they first ascertain the /acts of the matter. All the men in the campaign are good citizens and are well known, and it is safe to say our county will be iu good hands no matter who are elected. We begin this week the publication of a charming serial story entitled ''Equal Partners," by Howard Fielding. This story will constitute one of the attractive features of Thk Rkcokd, aud will be greatly enjoyed by all lovers of good fiction. Don't fall to read it. BRYAN'S BRIGHT PARAGRAPHS.
