Mr. Parker has recently purchased the A. J. Lee place in the vicinity of Cades, where he has a fine cotton crop and a promising field of corn and tobacco. He reports excellent seasons in his community and splendid crop prospects. Mr, Walter B. Logan, M. Brake & Son's clever salesman, was with us a day or two last week, Mr. Logan says that there is an almost unprecedented rush of orders for tr*)ds in his line. Chandler and family now of Valdosta, Ga., are on a visit to relatives in the Rome section. Mr. Chandler,who was a former resident of this county, being a brother of Sujiervisor B. B. Chandler, has for some years conducted a naval stores business in Georgia. His many friends in Williamsburg are glad to see him again.
