Of course one of the most conspicuous displays in the building is that connected with the army, and the exhibit is of special interest to those who have the carnivorous animals such as pan thers mountain lions and others of the same general family. The fish were represented by all the best va rieties of the ones used for food, some of them from Alaska and others from as far south as Florida. All of our native birds, from the eagle to the smallest humming bird was rep resented, and the exhibit was a mine of information to anyone who ii fond of natural history. Some skeletons and casts of extinct animals added very much to make the collection complete. Like the proceeding ar ticle which have appeared in our columns, in reference to the great Fair.
