A few members voted‘no’ and not even a divis ion was called for and so the section was adopted.” The letter wbich brought all this about was from a lady who had married a divorced man in another State and afterwards moved to South Carolina. She begged that the Convention would relieve her children of the stigma placed upon them by law as it stands at present, i tive relief that he finds himself securely anchored somewhere at last.
