As this com pany came highly recommended it was generally expected that a good performance would be gWen. But it was misplaced confidence The entertainment was in three parts; the first, “Sweethearts,” was a pretty little dramatic concert in two acts which could have been well produced, but it was eu poorly rendered that it had nothing to commend it to the public. Oliver W. Wren, as Sir H-ury Spread brow, did passiuly w>ll, but his support fell ftr below the average. The second pa't of the performance was decidedly the hoar. It consist ed of recitations by Mr. aud Mrs. Oliver W. Wren Again Mr. Wren made the best impression upon the audience.
