King attended her during her illtioss, and gave her the best medical as sistance. —The Rev. W. A. Gnerry will conduct divine services (Episcopal) next Sunday night in the Castle Hall of Harmony Lodge. It is iu this hall that the Episcopalians have been holding services tor sometime. Mr. Gnerry is an elo quent and forcible preacher, and is an earnest worker in the Master’s vineyard. He was bort in Claren* don County and is the son of Rev. LeGraude Gnerry. At tho age of fifteen Mr. Gnerry enter'd Dr. Por ter’s School in Charh'Ston and re mained there four years; thence he went to Sewanuee, and entered the University of the Sonth, where ho remained seven years, and gradu ated with the degree of M. A. in 1884. In 1884-85 ho was an in structor in Dr. Porter’s school. Re turning to Sewaunee Mr. Guorry entered St. Luke’s Theological Hall and graduated from there iu theols ogy during the present year. Dur ing his theological coarse he was assisteut Professor of Latin iu the University. Mr. Gnerry was or dained to the Diacouate by Rt. Rev. W. B. W. Howe ou September 23.
