All the money and food in the world isn’t sufficient to permanently eliminate pov erty. Pollution will never dis appear until the mental atti tudes which cause it change. “With all these situations we enow we’re dealing with states of human consciousness, rather than material conditions.” The message went on to say, “So, if we would change the external conditions. . .we must begin with the transformation of human thought” The new President of Hie First Church of Christ, Scient ist, in Boston for the year 1976- 71 is Clem W. Collins, a resi dent of Boston. Since 1963 Mr. Collins has been Publishers’ Agent, Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy. maria, Mrs. Jessie Smith, Lees- ville, Mrs. Frances Shealy, New berry, Mrs. Rosalyn Martin and Mrs. Myrtle Albert, both of Col umbia; a brother, Adam Will iamson of Newberry; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. Saturday from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Harold F. Fuller and Rev. J. Harry Grout conducting the service. Burial was in the church cemetery. Bom in Newberry County, he was a son of the late Sam J. and Annie Risinger Williamson. He was a retired road grader for Newberry County, a veter an of World War II, and a mem ber of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Faye Derrick Williamson; two daugh ters, Mrs. Ediwth W. Casey of Greenville and Mrs. Letha W.
