C. Tuberculosis Association on April 26-27. The 2-day meeting was held at the Clemson House in Clemson. Richard W. Stowe, president of Area 6, presided at the op ening session on Friday, and Mrs. Wm. F. Mauldin of Green wood was one of the program participants. Mrs. W. Mills Hodge, Mrs. H. W. Milam and Mrs. J. H. Rolen of Laurens served as registrars on Friday. Hosts were Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Gray of Johnston, Mrs. W. C. Koon of Prosperity and Miss Grace Summer of Newberry. At the business meeting on Saturday morning, Rev. James A. Bowers of Greenwood was elected to serve as president of the State association. Those who served as hosts on Sat urday were Rev. and Mrs. Neil E. Truesdell of Newberry and Rev. J. C. Rice Jr., of Ware Shoals. Friday’s session centered on meeting the needs of patients suffering with chronic respira tory diseases. On Saturday, Dr. E. Kenneth Aycock led the discussion on the future of the S. C. Sanatorium at State Park as a chronic respiratory disease hospital under super vision of the S. C. State Board of Health.
