by the way .. . B\ DORIS \. S \NDKRS SPRINGTIME While .several cold snaps took the toll of camellias in our fair city, the weather evidently was just right for the blooming beauty of Spring. Each year I am inclined to believe that Newberry is even more beau tiful than the year before. I think this is true — when the weather allows—because more and more, the residents of our city become azalea and dogwood conscious. The flowers are prettier in the older sections of the city where the bushes have grown to maturity. In the newer residential areas, small er plants are seen and these will one year match the present beauty of " old" Newberry.
