Jusd. to straighten the record, the person involved was NOT an elected official of Newberry County. The lady involved was a clerk hired by the county delegation to work in the Treasurer’s office. The word “audit" seemed to indicate to some that the auditor’s office was involved. This was not the case. The lady in question has resigned and no one else in the courthouse was involved. FOOTBALL TIME It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a high school foot ball game, but the one last Friday night at Setzler Field was well worth the time and money. The Bulldogs of New berry High, under their new coach. Kimmell, not only de flated the Lexington High team, but played “heads up” football the entire game.
