MAYER & SONS GET QUALITY AWARD H. E. Mayer & Sons Dairy Farm, in this county, has re ceived recognition in Edisto Farms Dairy’s annual Quality Awards Program, according to R. P. Kapp, general manager of Edisto, Columbia. The Mayer farm was among the top ten in Edisto’s annual competition which rates dairies on quality of milk produced, general farm appearance, test ing programs, and other points. Edisto Farms Dairy processes and distributes milk produced by all-Guernsey herds on 70 South Carolina farms. Mrs. Hite was born in this county, a daughter of the late Marion McDaniel and Emma Mayer Miller. She was a mem ber of Bethany Lutheran church.
