It is receiving attention from home economics experts as i to its value in recines in everyday ; cookery. The station chemists have an alyzed this product and are con- i ducting feeding experiments on [white rats with various types of sweet potato flour to determine its , nutritional value, its vitamin potency, etc. I Sweet potato flour may be readi- j lv compounded with other feeds to provide a complete and balanced ! ration for farm animals, the I chemists state. The flour keeps for long periods of time and takes much less storage space, because of the removal of water, than the ; raw potato. Experiments now un derway are designed to show the i value of the product as a feed for erws, calves, chickens, hogs, and other farm animals.
