Mr. Featherstone stated this morning that he had given Tolhert's case' caroful tihought and he is thoroughly convinced that the man was of unsound mind when lIe killed his wife and that lie has made no improvement since. "I do not be lieve that Tolbert should be turned loose on the community," Mr. Feather stone stated, "but I do think that he should not pay the death penalty."
