Mr. R. W. Nichols has moved into Mr. J. S. Machen's house on Sullivan Street. Mr. W. R. McCuen is "at home" on Chestnut Street, having moved into the Dr. Connor house, which he recently purchased. Mrs. R. C. Watts and Misses Courto ney and Augusta Watts returned to Cheraw Thursday, after a visit of sev eral weeks in the city. MR. MESSER FULLER DEAD. Another Member of James Battalion Passes Over the River. Mr. Messer Fuller, an aged and re spected citizen of the county, died at his home seven miles west of the city last Wednesday and was buried on the following day at Mt. Pleasant Church, Waterloo township. Mr. Fuller was about 80 years and is survived by his aged widow. By his death another gallant member of James Battalion has been called hither to answer the roll call up yonder. Last Mope Vanished. When leading physicians said that W. M. C, will be installed as rector of Saint Michael's and All Angels lu re. Rev. Mr. Thomas arrived in Wash ington from Laurens about two weeks ago and Sunday preached his first ser mon in his new Church. So Charleston has more than half the deposits of the State.
