Some three weeks ago Senator Till man returned home on account of a break down in health. It is reported that he will go to Philadelphia this week to consult two famous nerve spe cialists. The Senator's condition is said however to be in no way alarming. He is simply not improving rapidly and the object of the Philadelphia visit is to be on the safe side. A Delicate Operation. Tho nineteen-months-old son of Mr. Perry Wright, machinist at Pacolet mills, has been dangerously ill with membranous croup. A few days ago Dr. H. R. Black as sisted by Dr. Kirkpatrick, performed the operation of inturotion?inserting a gold tube in tho child's wind pipe and applying anti-toxin. The operation was a successful one and the child is on a fair road to recov ery.? Spartanburg Herald, Feb. 12th. Mr. Wright's friends in this city will be glad to know his son is improving.
