Captain Byrd has long been a resident of this city, and until recently was superin tendent of the C, K. & W. railway. Mrs. Byrd was a resident of Green ville for some years where she made a host of friends by her princely hospi tality and charming entertainments. Tlio ceremony was performed by the Rev.
