Fisherman Bays he saw the woman raise both hands above her head and heard her cry out, "Here goes." Before he could seize her she dived into the excavation. Investigation showed that she was Anna Lee Merritt, of Mount Airy, N. O. A Miss Chambers says that Miss Merritt has many friends among the nurses here.
