The representa tives of Cherokee should bear in mind that the people of this county want good roads, and if it is necessary to have any special legislation in re gard to voting bonds for good roads they should see to it that any measure necessary should lie passed. We want a vote on good roads this summer. Remanded to Jail- Dr. Matthews, charged with wife murder, was remanded to jail in Greensboro after a hearing before i Mayor Murphy of the witnesses for the prosecution.
