B, Armstrong, treasurer of Barnwell County, tax col lections this year are falling behind receipts in 1926-1927. He estimates that only a little over 60 per cent, of the amount duo the State and county has been paid, as compared wit^j about 68 per cent, to the same time last year. Death of Former Williston Lady. Mrs. Leila Rountree, widow of the late W. H. Rountree, a former resident of Williston, died Sunday morning at five o’clock at her home in North Augusta, where the family had resid ed for the past 20 years. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at one o’clock, from the North Au- *\gusta Baptist Church arid the body was laid to rest in the family section iir^he Williston cemetery.
