Etippu Kennedy, aged 70, died Friday at the home of her son-in-law add daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Bates after a long illness. Her body waf laid to rest Saturday morning in the- Rlackville cemetery, thp Rev. L. H. Miller con ducting the funeral services. r-' Mrs. Kennedy had not lived in Blackville. very long, having recently come here to live with her daughter, Mrs. Bates, but she made many friends-here who are-gneved over her death. .
