Get your home and your property in the picture. * # ? The member* of the rural police force are certainly doing all that they can to stop the unlawful making and selling of whiskey. In many instances they can succeed in locating tho still where the whiskey is made but cannot catch the man who operates it. In such cases the most they can do is to destroy the mill where the stuff is being produced. ***** J. A. The filtering; plant will remove all of the sand that may be pumped up from the artesian well and will prevent possible trouble that will be sure to arise unless this is done. The extention of pipe lines so as to supply all of the homes in , Conway is one great thing that will be attended to from now on. * * * Every member of the South Carolina Press Association is being asked to arrange his trip to the meeting here on June 21 so that he will arrive in Marion on the morning; of that day. An effort will be made for members to leave Columbia on the 5:40 train over the Atlantic Coast Line on Wednesday morning, June 21.
