The best time to advertise is when
business is dull. Some business men
do not realize this fact and they
sp?iul money on advertising only when
business is flush and they have already
as much as they can do. Advertising
when business is considered
dull will bring additional business
later on and this is the way that it
pays.
* * * *
You cannot afford to fail in doing
tho part required of you in the cleanup
campaign put on by the civic
league. The campaign is now on and
heen on since June 12th, but it will
be over in another day or two. Get
busy to-day and finish up the clean-,
ing. It may be too late next week.
Get your home and your property in
the picture.

The member* of the rural police
force are certainly doing all that they
can to stop the unlawful making and
selling of whiskey. In many instances
they can succeed in locating
tho still where the whiskey is made
but cannot catch the man who operates
it. In such cases the most they
can do is to destroy the mill where
the stuff is being produced.
