GOT (MLY'THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS Balance of Valuable Estate Went to Others, Claims Only Lawful Heir. A contest has arisen over the will of the late E. Van Graham. The question is made by Amelia Ann Shelley, who is an heir at law o Graham. Shelley ha? roqu:red that thi. will of her father, E. V?r? Graham shall be proven in solemn form of law, and already her pe'.iti m ha been filed with J. v' Vaiur'"':. t'judge of probate of Horry County. No time has yet been i xcd .oi* tb hearing under this proceeding, l>u it will he held as soon as possible. Messrs. John Holt and J. W. Cook are the executors of this will. Ac cording to the judge of prol>aUj, i is probable that the executors have already made disposition of t1 property of E. Van Graham, as d! rected by the terms cf the will, i would appear that they may not havvc waited until the expiration o a year from the grant of letters. Anyway, it is thought thai wh this will is brought into question that it will be found that it wa never properly executed and a tesi ed while all of the witnesses to it were present, and in the presence of the testator.
