THE HORRY HERALD, CON TWO BAD EGGS BURST IN DAY -v r! Policeman D. Frank Bellamy de- n stroyed two whiskey stills n the same L day, December 21st, 1921. Both stills used steel proline drums for vats, and with them went the usual amount of things used by lawbreakers in , producing- monkey rum. j One of the stills was located near y a place known as Midway, while the other was near the Dick Pond in Socastee township, and not far from s Myrtle Beach. j According to the officers several ar- t rests will be made later. At the pres- j ent time no names have been given r out as those engaged in running eith- < er of these stills. The evidence is said to be strong against the parties { suspected. , These stills were located in a good . hiding place ,as there are 110 families sottlfld 1 TO RENT Farm with tiieo 'dwelling house. to- 1 bacco barn and all other necessary out-houses on it in Socastee.
