" GOOD HEALTH" WITHIN jASY REACH Vigorous Health Only as Far Away as the Use of PeptoMangan Ore ate s Rich, Red Blood Pepto-Mangan Obtainable in Liquid or Tablets?Insist on "Glide's," the Genuine. There is really no reason why men or women with thin, watery blood and consequent poor health should remain in that unfortunate condition. Thin, nervous, run-down, .tired people never get much happiness out of life. Men and women with the bloom of health in their cheeks, a cheerful, sun uy disposition and an attractive personality are the folks who get most of life's enjoyment, pleasure, and success. Gude's Pepto-Mangan furnishes thin, watery blood with the necessary nourishment to enrich it, enabling it to supply energy, vitality, and strength to every part of the body. Physicians recommened Gude's Pepto-Mangan to patients suffering from fincmia because its beneficial and lasting qualities are well known to the medical profession. Gude's Pepto-iUangan is obtainable in either liquid or tablet form. Hoth forms contain exactly the same strength and medicinal properties. When you buy Popto-.Mangnn o< your diuggist, he sure the nam "Gude's" is on the package. Without "Gude's" it is not Pepto-Mangan.adv. ;, O RESERVE OFFICERS 11 HAVE FiRST CHANCE li Washington.?The war dcpaitiuont Iocs not plan to commission civilian in the army in the event of any future national emergency requiring expansion of the military forces, until the entire list of reserve officers has been called to active service. SUPREME COUNCIL ORDER TO GERMANY Failure to Sign Will Have Recourse to Military Measures t VON LERSNER STATED ALLIES NOT INFORMED Regarding Complaint That Germany Was Exceeding Limit of Military Forces. Paris.?In a note drafted by the supreme council it is demanded that Germany sign the protocol providing for the carrying out of the peace terms, failing which the allies, it is set forth, will be obliged to have recourse to military measures. The text of the reply to be made by the Allied and associated powers to the latest communication from Baron Kurt Von Lersner, head of I ha* German peace mission, regarding the original allied demand for the signing of the protocol putting the peace treaty into effect, submitted to Germany on November 1, was unanimously adopted by the supreme council. The council took under consideration Germany's wish that customs payments on goods entering Germany by land be made in gold, as had already been done on goods sent by sea. The decision was postponed until the peace treaty is put. into force. It was explained that the allies declined to accord an advantage to Germany, holding it incomparable with the-delay which Germany was raising regarding the putting of the treaty into force and with the unfavorable economic measures she was practic ing. gott?growers" WILL FORM BANK After considerable discussion and somewhat positive opposition, the ! South Carolina Cotton association voted to establish a cotton bank an 1 export corporation with a proposed capital stock of $2,000,000.
