C., one of the warrants charging that the defendant disposed of a piano that he had purchased from the company and mortgaged back to secur" the purchase money, and the other charging that J. C. The other case involves a much larger amount, and all together the amount involved would make about $500.00. Mr. Morse was appointed to this sub-agency by Mr. A. H. Hutt of Schatte & Hutt of Charleston, acting for the Cable Piano Co. A few weeks agtyt Mr. Hutt was in this county check ing up this matter with Mr. Morse. The defendant is a married man and his family live at Little River. He is a son of the late Capt. N. B. Morse of tthat place. Last Friday morning after some time, the defendant succeeded in making bond for his appearance at the next term of the court of General Sessions. His bond was fixed by the I magistrate at the sum of $300.00 in each case. Miss Hannah Wilson, daughter c Mrs. T. A. Wilson, has returned horn from the Burroughs Hospital, wher she went to undergo an operation fo appendicitis. Those wh enjoyed the evening were Messrs. Jo Vereen, Frank and Freddie Hardee Everett and Levi Watts, Mr .and Mn N. T. Collins, and Misses Beulah an Lizzie Watts, Roxie Nixon and Edn Hardee. Vaught was taken sud denly ill last Thursday and was car ried to the hospital, where at last ac counts she was thought to be som better, but likely to have to undcrg an operation. Her husband is th Judge of Probate of this County. o There is need of a lavatory on th daily trains between Aynor and Myr tie Beach. The trains are producer of smoke nad cinders, and it is th duty of the company running them t furnish an easy means whereby pas sengers may clean this dust and smu from their hands and faces.
