f ?? ? mmmm i m^-? . w ^??? |ME The State Convention S If? To the Sunday School Workers of - The thirty-sixth annual Convenjfei*. tlon of the State Sunday School Association will meet at Sumter April 2nd, 3rd, and 4ih. Sumter has limited the Association to six hundred delegates. That means that each county oan be allowed only a certain number of delegates. A big county like Charleston has been alloted fout teen. 1 told Miss Vandiver, how ever, that Ilorry has been carrying twenty-five delegates all the way across the State to attend convention, and that we just must be al lowed room ror thirty this time, the I Convention being so uear. She has promised to work our thirty in if possible. Bat if you wish to be one of the thirty you had better let me know at once, or some one else may have your place. It has been a good many years since the State Convention has met in this part of the State. It hap grown so large that it takes quite a large town to entertain it, so it is likely that it will be while again before we can attend a State Convention with so small a railroad fare. A reduced railroad rate will be cn too, and as the good peapie of Sumter will entertain us free, the expense item will be quite small. W, C. Pearce, of Chicago, Associate Gen. Sec. International Sunday School Assn^, and Judge Joseph Carthel, Gen, Sec , of Tennessee will be there. Yes, and Tullar and Meredith of New York, will have charge of the music. Well, it is 31 A- ? - *" ? 1 xioeuiuss to sj-y more, ii you wish to miss a gteit inspiring convention lead by trained workers who have done things and who will tell you how, well, just stay at borne. But if you wish to equip yourself for better work for the Master in your Sunday School, send me your name at once and I will reserve a place for you in the Horry delegation. Just a Mord to those who made pledges at the County Convention, We are anxious to pay our State pledge before the State Convention, so send as much of your pledge as you can into J. C. Spivey, Treas., at Conway as soou as possible. We have only two more weeks, you know. Kemembar the place, Sumter, the date. April 2-4 Meet me there. Paul Quattlebaum, Pres. County S. S. Assn.
