Ail that physicians and loving hands could do was done to stay the icy hands of death but to no ava.l. Our kind and loving Father knew best. Ob, how hard it is to give him up, but we must bow in humble submission to Him who doeth all things weli. He leaves a wife, th**ee children, father aud mother, three brothers, three sisters and a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss, but our loss is his eternal gain. We mourn not as those who have no hope. We ft el that he is t?fc rest, as he often spoke of the rest awaiting him. He said there was a better rklur-u for him and he must HO. He ^ r. v,as a dutiful sou, a loving and affectionate husband and father aud a kind and loving brother. May we all live so as to meet him in the uweet bye and bye where parting will be no more. Only a tew iutimate friends were invited to witness the ceremony which was performed by Rev J Vv^ Martin in a simple but very im pressive manner.
