Kriitor THURSDAY. MARCH 16. 1911 The Court of Common Pleas. The Worry Bir held a m eting on last Monday morning for the purpose of arranging a roster of cases to be tried at the Spring term of the Court of Cc ramco Ph as, which will convene at Conway, on Mot day April ft<*d It will be noticed thatall of the cases are set, for trial on the lir^t three days of the week, and this was done in order to give the nrmri enmpthini/ to be working on all of the time. Should all of the cases sot for Monday not be tr'ed on that day, then they will bo tal.en up in their ordtr on the following dii c, and so on until all of the cases prepared for trial have been disposed of. The following is a copy of i he Roster of the cases referred to: Cases on Calender No. 1. FOR TRIAL ON MONDAY APRIL 3ltl), Gore vs Johnson; Trust Co. vs Hyman et si; Central B in k vs Hunan ct al; Hoi I day vs Crawford Waddell vs Cypress Co; Holt vs Hick sou FOR TRIAL ON TUESDAY, APRIL 4TII< Allsbrook vs Sasser; Burroughs vs Allen; Fidelity Trust Co. vs Hyman et al; Bank vs Mishoe Strickland vs Soles. FOR TRIAL ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5TI Holliday vs Johnson; Bell Bros vs J A 13 I); Isaacs vs Isaacs; Isaac? vs Issacs; Bfll vs Bell Bros. Cases for Calender No. 2 Boyd vs Troxler; Thomas vs Grain ger. All of the above ;s taken with the understanding that the clash is still on between Governor Blease and the Supreme court. Judge J C Klugh, who was regularly assigned to hold the Spring term of our court, is still ill at his home, and in case ho is still sick at the time the next term of the court of Common Pleus is due. there may be doubt that any o her Judge will be ap po:nt"d to uold the court. The members of the bar here as else where are not disposed to uphold Governor Blease iu his prejudice and evident ill feelings that he would seem to entertain against those lawyers who opposed him in the primary. As stated in this paper last week, he has sent out a list of lawyers who he is willing to have appoin'.el as special judges, and he means by this that he will not appoint any others. He is clearly in the wrong. He should not allow anything of this kind to interfere v. ilh the best interests of the people. Later. It is learned that Governor Blease Las ordered a special term of the criminal court of General Sessions to begin April 3rd, and it is stated by members or the Bar that this will kmck out the civil court as above arrargtd, and there will be no civil casts tried.
