Sweet, last Thursday, charged with breaking ai.? entering the store of J. E Nichols at Homewood, and taking then from some shoes, cloth and a lot 01 pennies from the money drawer after an examination of all witnesses put up by the State, the case wo dismissed, as there was no proc upon which they could be held. The store was broken into 01 Monday night of last week, and th goods and money found missing John Koberts has been out of a jo> for some time, and had also batr< knocking about the store. He wa in Conway on Tuesday and severa. suspicious circumstances led M Nicholas to have arrested. He was arrest d b.y special constable H N, Sessions, <to whom It is said ht made a confession. He stated tc Mr Sossions, so it is said, that he broke in the store at a window, am that he was accompanied by the * other youth, Barman flux in breaking and entering the store. Mi Sessions stated the he went with him and showed how the window was broker, how the drawer was opened and a lamp lighted for the purpose. Owing to this confession on bis part, the other man, Harman Hux, was arrested.
