Charles Montgomery, a wealthy merchant, was represented by Jackson Vercen whose manner throughout the play fairly represented the haughty, scheming tlnaneier. Mrs. Montgomery, his wife, was acted by Miss Hossie Rollinson. the charming daughter of one ?r nr.. i ? * ' * - - win ii iH-MiTii menusoui at Homewood She acted her part well. Then there was a song by little Lilah Thompson which captured the hearts of all. A song, "South Cur'Una tickle Cake walk" and a pantomime entitled. "Way Down Upon DeSwanec Riber" by several of the smaller school girls wound up the exercises or the evening. MONDAY. The graduating exercises began at 10 dO o'clock on Monday.
