Willis obtained a mechanic’s lien on Dr. Talmage’s tabernacle in Brooklyn, and then brought an action to forcc'ose it, and judgment was rendered in bis favor for $52,216 on the 10th of Febru ary. On Wednesday the judgment was signed by Judge Pratt, and it will be enforced by the sale of the property by the sheriff at public auction in one parcel. Wills built the tabernacle, which cost $400,000. The amount of his judgment is the unpaid balance. The sale is sub ject to a mortgage of Russell Sage. Dispatches of Saturday report the street car strike in Indianapolis as growing serious. Mayor Sullivan h >.s orde ed the po lice to assist the street ctr company in its endeavor to run cars. At 6 o’clock Sat urday morning three street cirs were started out of tho New Jeisey street sta bles, each car having five or six police men aboard. From that time until after 1 o’clock the city was in a continuous riot. Cars were turned crosswise of tho track with policemen on them. Others were deposited in gutters, and tho teams unhitched and turned loose. One driver was beaten nearly to death.
