Judge Johnstone adjourned the fall term of court sine die on Saturday. On Saturday night the dwell ing house of Mr. E. C. DuBose .just east of Camden, was totally -destroyed by tire. Practically none of the con tents were saved, and the family barely escaped with their lives. The loss is a heavy one to Mr. DuBose, and we greatly regret the occurrence. Morris was a genial, warm-) hearted gentleman whose loss will be deplored by a host of friends, and whoso services will be solely missed by the State. Iu addition to his other quali fications, Col. Dean is a great spoilsman. Just before taking his depart ure for Europe he won the trophy at the shoot at VViu stou-Salem.
