THE I'RK-IONVENTION PROGRAM As usual the pre-convention program sponsored by the local committee. the Rev. .T. W. Toomer, I Chairman will be held on Tuesday ! night. According to information J furnished by the Office of Public Relations, elaborate preparations have been made to give us the best programs, of its kind ever. The feuutred speaker will be Dr. W. U. Borders, pastor of the Wheat j Street Baptist church, instructor at Me rehouse College, and president) of'the Georgia Baptist Convention, | will be the. guest speaker. We can't aflord to miss this program. THE CONVENTION PROGRAM j AND BUSINESS The regular convention program will begin Wednesday morning at I ;nihe o'clock with a Bible Study ; conducted by Dr. Maxis S. Gordon; pastor of First Calvary Baptist Church, Columbia, followed by the introductory sermon preached by the Rev.-H,,P- Sharper or the Rev. R. R. Buslv. I was serving the Granger Baptist Church at Elloree, and he was serving a church in the upper part of Orangeburg | County. It was at that church I \ conducted my second Revival ti meeting.
