Please' allow me space • to express my opinion on stock law In this the exempted portion ot, Colleton coun ty. 1 know we enjoy by being able to allow our stock to run at large. We have lota of vacant or wooded lands that are not used for anything. And the stock running on these lands evi dently la ho harm or injury to them or It. Now If a man begrudges, to sec his neighbor’s cow or hog rtta on Ins land or if he thinks so much of it that he can’t stand to see the stoc^t on it,.why let his fence It. I could not sleep at night knwoing my crop unprotected. Suppose your neighbor’s stock got out of the pas ture your crop would be gone. 1 know a lady who had the misfor tune to lose her husband this year and shb has made but little crop* Recently she sold. 190.00 worth of entile.
