Almost every woman you meet has either been oenefited by it, or knows some one who has. In the Pinkham Laboratory at Lynn, Mass., are files con taining over one million one hundred thousand letters from women seeking health, in which many openly state over their ow n signatures tha£ they have regained their health by taking Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound.’ Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound has saved many women from surgical operations. Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound is made ex clusively from roots and herbs, and is perfectly harmless. The reason why it is so successful is because it contains ingredients which act directly upon the female organism, restoring it to healthy and normal activity. Thousands of unsolicited and genuine testimonials such as the following prove the efficiency of this simple remedy. Colomn, Wisconsin. — “ For throe years I was troubled with female weakness, irregularities^ back a elie and bearing down pains. I saw an ad vertisement of Lydia E. The following communication has just been handed us for publication: One of the most pleasing events of the Xwas holidays was the Xmas tree at the Chapel on Factory Hill. In the center of the stage was a holly tree from which hung garlands of glistening tinsel intermingled with beaming candles. Among this brilliant luster the little folk of the Sunday School, saw hanging in great profusion, every article of pleasure that their hearts could wish for, each wondering which would be theirs. Let us picthre this for our back-ground, and here comes the unexpected, a living Xmas tre*. Just in front of the stage 15 little girls and bovs beautifully dressed in bright colors,. formed a living tree which towered to the ceiling. Each little girl and boy recited a verse of ’‘Glory to God in the Highest." It was hardjo decide which little mem ber deserved most credit, but the judges after careful consideration decided in favor of Fay Morris for the first prize, the two little broth ers. Andrew and Clide Clough, came in worthily for the second prize and Jittle Edith Benton wss last, but not least, the winner of the third prize. ' \fier the affair was over the little folk went home joyfully pleased, tooting their horns and eating Xmas goodies. Special mention should in* made.as ! to the committee who undertook i this work forth* Sunday School..Mrs ! D E. C. Plough, chatnnar ; Mrs Jas. ‘ L »per, and Mrs. «h>o Morris. The ! Hon J. S. GrifTin, who has been the I faithful superintendent since the be- ! g nning of the Sunday School, pre sided. Those who we.e chosen for judges on this <»ecasior were: Revs J. M. Craven. B. F. Halford and 1. B. Harrison, Esq.
