May last week cut his twelve acres of peavine hay near town, and it was a beantiful land scape scene when placed in stacks over the field. Col. May gathered the latter part of May fifty bushels of oats per acre on this filled and June 8 and 9 planted the peas. He estimates that it has made two tons per acre of the finest kind of hay.
