Last Friday morning the angel of death laid its cold and icy hand upon the hearts and minds in the home of Mr and Mrs .1 M Crosby and removed from them their precious little babe who bad only been sick seven days when it passed to the great be yond. Special:— Thursday the many relatives and friends of Joseph Lang- dale assembled at his residence for the purpose of celebrating his sixty'-second birthday. There were present of his children, grand-children, rela tives and friends seventy per sons. The day was spent in enjoying delicious melons, iced lemonade ice cream, and a bountitul dinner. Mr Lang- dale was the happiest of the throng in thus being the recipi ent of such homage by those who know him so well and so- long.
