If Ayrshlres are to be kept as one breed and one general family, there must be more attention paid to breeding after the pattern as laid down by the different associations, and these asso ciations have united on a common standard. There is no reason why breed ers may not In all the different coun tries work in unison to a given stand ard, said a speaker at the New England Ayrshire club meeting. The strongest point of the Ayrshire cow. around which cluster all the other points, are the udder and teats, and this is the same In all countries under the recent revision—a large, square udder with four quarters of equal capacity, held strongly up on the belly, running well forward and behind, up out of the ECZEMA and PILE CURE FREE Knowing what it was to suf fer, I will give FREE OF CHARGE, to any afflicted a positive cure for Ecze ma, bait Rheum, Erysipelas, Piles and Skin Diseases. I am just as strong an anti-stock law man as there is in the county, but let ns try and get at it right How will or how can the fence be built by the vote of the peo ple and then by an amendment to the constitution? I believe we will gtt, by vote two to one for the exemption but that is only a secondary consider ation in the matter. Let us first inquire how% many miles of fencing there vwill be and then what will it cost per mile—as there is no politics in it I will sug gest that our worthy Supervisor JE Moore give us a rough’ estimate of miles and possible cost per mile, as I believe he is in a position to let us know, better than any other man that I know and that he do so through tnese columns. Mefi differ in opinion as to what class of property must be taxed to defray the expense. Some say the cows.some say all personal prop erty. Men learned in the law tell ns you cant tax real estate for that purpose it would be unconstitutional. I will ask in the name of common sense, if our delegation do ask for and get the exemption the same power will enact laws to meet the expenses and for its enforcement, land not exempted. I dont think you can discriminate and if you can’t, any law that you would ’ enact, in my opinion, would be bnilt on a sandy foundation and would sooner or later be washed away by fierce opposition. And by way of suggestion would say that if we have the exemption and we want it; that a strong law “I was a total wreck,” writes Mrs. Beulah Rowley, of Champoeg, Oregon, “from pains I had suffered, for 4 years, every month.
