The power company declares its intentions of doing “our part toward promoting that expansion.’’ Of course it is readily understood that if this in dustrial expansion does come the power comp,my will find market for it* product aijd will prosper in ;h>* ven ture. That admitted fact, sen es only to illustrate the inter dependence of the two great interests of our State agriculture and industry.. Unfair Laws Hurtful. In an editorial appearing April 1st. the Spartanburg Herald says: . . “South Carolina must realize that there is no conflict between agricul ture and industrial development. They should go hand in hand ' f The burdens of taxation should be borne equally by the farmers and by all industries.
