Long Branch, May 9.—Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hair, of Rosemary, spent ' Sunday with the former’s sister, Mrs. Virgie Birt. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Birt, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Winton Jones and Miss Myrtle Chitty, of Blackville, visited this community Sunday. Miss Juanita Carroll spent several days in Williston last week. While there she, with friends, visited Au gusta. The many friends of Mr. L. P. Wil liams will learn with regret that he has been quite sick, but are glad to know that he is convalescent at pres ent. Quite a number of Rosemary folks were visitors at Ixmg Branch Sunday. Mesdame* J. S. and M. A. Keel ^ were visitors in Williston Saturday afternoon. Miss Maud Ross and friends, of Barnwell, attended sendees here Sun day afternoon. Little Miss Vivian Garrison has re turned home after an eitended visit to her aunt. Mrs. Willie Hair. * Mrs. J. S.
