Although a good many punctured “squares” have been picked up in the fields, a fair percentage of the bolls are alreadly fully grown, so at least a fair cotton harvest is hoped for. Miss Emily Caldwell, accompanied by her aunt, Miss Lessie Glover, both of McPhersonville, is spending some time here, the guest of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Hay.
