The average number of pupils per school was 84, with an average attend ance of 60. _ > The total amount paid, white teach ers for the year was $78,983.12, the men teachers receiving $25,276.94 and the women teachers $54,725.19 of this amount. The average expenditure per pupil according to enrollment was $15. The total revenue for the schools was $114,558,08 for the county of which amount $20,740 was received from the state as state aid. The total expenditures for all purposes was $109,624.58.
