It waa a plain case of “too much Williston,” which hal the visitors entirely at their mercy throughout. The fe*- tiires of the game were the batting and fielding of the Williston players. A scout for the Philadelphia club of the American League was present. The attendance was possibly the largest ever seen at a ball game in this sec tion. _ » The second game was won by St. Matthews, 5 to 4. Williston led off in the first inning with one run and for six innings had things her own way. We regret to state that Miss Kath leen Griffin*, who was re-elected by the Board of Trustees, to teach in the Graded School, afterwards asked to be elected to the department of the High School, which the Board readily consented to has now asked to be re leased entirely. We will all miss her so much, as she was an efficient and devoted school teacher.
