One man has said that I, as a young man, should not run against him because he is an old Confederate Veteran. I assure one and all that there is no man who has the welfare of those good and true old Veterans more at heart than I have, and I of ten tell two of these good old boys that are near and dear to me that they should take a halt and stop work, rest and take life easy the rest of their lives.
