The government, however, ad mit* that advertising ia necessary to the successful raising of an army or the sale of war bonds. In all fair ness, we ask how does the the gov ernment expect the newspapers, al ready laboring under added bur dens on account of the war, to exist if they are required to give away one of the two commodities they have for sale?
