3 trustees for Williston High School
district Number 29; two trustees are
to be elected to fill the vacancies by
the expiration of the commissions of
W. E. Prothro and W. D. Black, and
to serve until the second Tuesday in
May, 1920; one trustee to fill the va
cancy caused by the expiration of the
commission of A. M. Kennedy to

tise. The government, however, ad

the successful raising of an army or
the sale of war bonds. AND IT

CENT TO COVER THE COST OF
THAT ADVERTISING. In all fair
ness, we ask how does the the gov
ernment expect the newspapers, al
ready laboring under added bur
dens on account of the war, to exist
if they are required to give away one
of the two commodities they have for
sale?
Until officers and enlisted men in.
the army and the navy, munition mak
ers, uniform manufacturers, Con
gressmen and everybody connected
with the government are asked to
give their services free of charge, the
